On October 12 and 13, a Mentor Convention was held in Ottawa, Canada, bringing together all of our mentors from across the country. A total of 96 mentors from middle schools, high schools, and universities in Calgary, Edmonton, Kitchener, Ottawa, Toronto, and Vancouver joined us for two full days of seminars.
During the convention, we hosted a variety of insightful speakers and workshops to help improve our mentoring services. We also featured best practice presentations, where teams from different cities shared their most valued achievements and accomplishments with their students. With new friendships formed, the two days of seminars and networking were a great success.
Post-secondary University Fair 2022
The post-secondary education fair is a place tens of invaluable university students from a diverse set of programs come together with high-school students to tell them about their unique university experiences.
High-schoolers can learn about the advantages and disadvantages of different programs. Listen to university students talking about why they chose their program what they love about it and more. This is also a great networking opportunity and a place where you can find yourself a mentor if you are lucky ;)
